Stambaugh Ness is celebrating its centennial, marking 100 years of client service. Founded by Harry Ness in 1918 as a small tax and accounting firm in York, PA, Stambaugh Ness has evolved into a multi-discipline, professional services family of companies who help clients identify pathways for success.

In honor of this milestone, Stambaugh Ness is recommitting to their employees, clients and the industries they serve. This includes the firm’s recent reorganization which puts an emphasis on providing solutions and services that position clients to be future-ready. Additionally, Stambaugh Ness announced the firm’s new purpose, values, and vision which will lead them into the next century of client service.

"...we proudly share this moment with everyone who has been part of our journey."

Steven L. Hake, CPA, President & CEO

“Our centennial presents a significant opportunity to look forward. Through years of continual disruption within the business marketplace and the professional service industry, we have continued to embrace change and use it to propel our purpose, to provide extraordinary experiences for our employees and clients. We recognize that we would not be celebrating this milestone without the ongoing support and loyalty of many, and we proudly share this moment with everyone who has been part of our journey.” said Steven Hake, Stambaugh Ness President, and Chief Executive Officer.
